On March 12, 2018, SINOMACH-HI general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Wang Weiyan signed an official agreement with Dr. Kheyrollah Khademi, Deputy Minister of Iran’s Ministry of Communications and General Manager of Iran’s Transport Infrastructure Construction and Development Company, about Tehran-Hamadan-Sanandaj railway reconstruction and expansion project contract, the project duration of 4 years and the total amounted to more than 5.3 billion yuan.

SINOMACH-HI is the general contractor and will provide design, supply and construction (EPC) services for this project, the total length of the T-H-S railway redevelopment and expansion project is approximately 470 kilometers.

The T-H-Sproject is a key project of Iranian President Rohanialso is one of the three priority railway projects of the Iranian Ministry of Communications. After the project is completed, it will greatly ease the traffic capacity in western Iran and is of great significance to the Iranian government.

At the signing ceremony, the two sides communicated and arranged for their respective next steps. The Iranian government will allocate effective resources to make the project effective. SINOMACH-HI will help the owners complete financing and organize project implementation as soon as possible.
